GOTTA LOVE HALLOWEEN. Why? Candy corn, free candy, the color orange, pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, ghost stories, witch’s warts, fake vampire blood, fake spider webs, fake RIP gravestones on lawns, apple bobbing, candy apples, scary movies, homemade costumes, corn mazes, hay rides, mummies, Monster Mash, pillow-case candy sacks, yelling “Trick or Treat,” skeleton pin-ups, haunted houses, Halloween parties, Halloween festivals, black cats, broomsticks, capes and bats.

ALIANTE STATION

Thursday – Sunday

The ETA Lounge is hosting a Slasher Cinema Weekend with drink specials, live entertainment, ghastly giveaways and free admission at 9pm each night. Here’s the lineup:

• Thursday: Saw 7 movie release party. Admission free.
• Friday: Friday the 13th Theme Party
• Saturday: Nightmare on Elm Street Theme Party
• Sunday: Scary-oke with Jimmy Z

Friday

80s Prom Party in the Access Showroom. Doors at 8pm. Free admission. Performance by “The Cured.” Prom King and Queen crowning. Win great prizes.

Sunday

New Medicine’s Halloween concert. Doors at 8pm in the Access Showroom. Free admission.

Sunday

Halloween Noche featuring Banda music is from 9pm to 5am in the Railhead. Ladies in costume get first drink free. $500 first prize to the winner of the Naughty School Girl costume contest.

FIESTA HENDERSON

Saturday

Halloween Karaoke Contest. 9pm to 1am in the Cerveza Cantina. Prizes and drink specials.

FIESTA RANCHO

Friday

Sexy 70s Halloween Party. Doors open at 10pm in Club Tequila. Cash prizes for best costumes. Music by DJ Benzo & DJ Twin. $10 cover.

GREEN VALLEY RANCH

Saturday

GVR has an awesome Fright Night Pub Crawl starting at 8pm in the Lobby Bar, making stops at Quinn’s (9-10pm), Drop Bar (10-11pm) and ends up at Ovation Lounge (11pm – 2am) with drink specials along the way.

Then, the Steel Panther Halloween Party picks it up from there in Ovation with costume prizes and hotness.

Red Rock has a Halloween Spooktacular Hotel Package that includes two nights (Oct. 30 & 31 or Oct. 31 & Nov. 1) and a bunch of other fun stuff.

Somewhat appropriately the Crash Test Dummies concert is at 10pm in Rocks Lounge.

Wednesday – Saturday

With $10,000 in cash and prizes the party basically never stops at Revolver, starting Wednesday night with the Naughty Schoolgirl Costume Contest with the mayhem continuing through Saturday until everyone goes home. This poster to that right shows much of the fun.

Sin City Sinners (Friday at 9pm) and Nawgahyde (Saturday at 9pm) are throwing back-to-back Halloween bashes in Club Madrid. Free admission. Guests are encouraged to dress up with prizes for best costumes awarded each night:

• 1st Place Prize: Comedy Pack (4 VIP Booth tickets to each Greg Fitzsimmons, Brian Posehn & Jim Norton. $40 food credit at Hooters and bucket of beer at the show)
