Did you see:

The latest show performed by famous Beatles tribute band The Fab? This production was a smashing success, bringing in Beatles fans from all over Las Vegas and beyond. The April 10th show featured the Beatles’ eighth album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which included the classics “With a Little Help from my Friends,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” as well as the title track. If you made the show and appreciated the quality of Cam Konicek’s vocals as Paul McCartney, be sure to check out the upcoming Best of Paul McCartney show on July 10th!

We were fortunate to get an interview with Performer/Producer John Menniti, who helped bring In Its Entirety to life.

Interview with John Menniti, Founder of In Its Entirety

Benjamin Barber. What’s your favorite band in the series and why?

John Menniti. {Laughs} That’s like asking me who’s my favorite child. I love them all. Really, they’re all great.

BB. You have different bands for each album you cover. Can you tell us a little about them?

JM. So as you know, we have The Fab, the best sounding Beatles band in the world. Cam Konicek is the voice of Paul McCartney, and he’s world-class. We also have Vegas Limit, who does a lot of our rock shows like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, stuff like that. We also have the In Its Entirety Band who play our Pink Floyd shows and do a great Chicago cover as well. Another upcoming show will feature Journey Unlimited – The Tribute. Their lead singer, Michael Flynn sounds more like Steve Perry than anyone in the world… besides Steve Perry {laughs}.

BB. How long does it take a band to master an album?

JM. Well, you know these are classic albums, you’re going to hear the songs you love, so these guys, they’re world-class musicians, they’ve been playing these titles for years. It’s very polished, very professional. You’re not going to hear anything that came out this week and think “I don’t know this song, time to go grab a beer!” But if you really want to be impressed, Vegas Limit does an All Request Live show where the audience texts in requests and they play them on the spot. It’s a very interactive format and people really love it. The great thing about all our bands in they are accomplished top-tier musicians. For any given show we may plug a performer in here or there, swap some out, and we can recreate a wide spectrum of bands. It’s really unbelievable.

BB. Any inside info on new shows being added to the series?

JM. Well I probably shouldn’t talk about it, but we have an awesome tribute to the band Boston. But it’s all very preliminary and we’re still in negotiations, so that’s all I can really say.

BB. John, thank you for your time and we look forward to seeing you guys live at Red Rock for the Zeppelin show.

JM. My pleasure, Benjamin. Just one thing before we go, all of our Red Rock shows have sold out either the day before or the day of the show, so, of course, we don’t want to discourage anyone from showing up the day of the show, but definitely try to book your tickets early so you don’t miss out. The Zeppelin show is one you don’t want to miss!

You heard the man, book your tickets early! Also if you’re a fan of Boston and want to see them added to the lineup, show your support in the comments or on the In Its Entirety Facebook page.
