Vinyl Tattoo to play Santa Fe Station June 30

Las Vegas based classic rock all star band featuring Frank DiMino from Angel, Derrick Pontier from Great White, Oz Fox from Stryper and JP Michaels from Kaos.
Vinyl Tattoo to play Santa Fe Station’s Chrome Showroom on June 30, 2012. No cover. Doors 8pm, Show 9pm. 21+

Vinyl Tattoo is a Classic Rock band giving tribute to rock music of the eras between 1960 and the early 1980’s. Just before music became “digital.”
This was a time when music was uniquely influential to our culture. Groups like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Bad Company, The Who, Black Sabbath and AC/DC became the life giving energy for so many. The members of Vinyl Tattoo grew up with this music and it shaped each of the members careers in different ways. This one of a kind blend of veteran musicians lacks nothing in their true renditions of masterpieces that most bands would not attempt to perform. VT will cook you up a true experience that will leave you believing that Rock n Roll will never die.

Be sure not to miss a Vinyl Tattoo performance.

Cherry to Re-Open This Summer at Red Rock

LAS VEGAS – Red Rock Resort is gearing up for summer with an entertainment lineup that includes the return of the 22,000 square foot indoor/outdoor CHERRY nightclub, Red Rock Cabana Club pool parties and the newly expanded Red Rock Casino Amphitheatre.

Beginning May 25 over Memorial Weekend through October, “CHERRY Nightclub: Summer Affair” will open its doors every Friday and Saturday night at 10 p.m. to offer a sexy and seductive nightlife experience in Summerlin. CHERRY is known for its dramatic entrance through a long mirrored tunnel intended to replicate the stem of a cherry that leads out onto the main dance floor and club as guests are surrounded by electric red leather walls and translucent crimson glass doors in an intimate oval shaped venue.

Cherry Nightclub: Summer Affair will be an indoor/outdoor nightlife experience as the venue features floor-to-ceiling glass walls where the club’s dance floor pours out to its own pool deck with outdoor lounge areas and a glowing onyx stone bar. The nightclub will feature some of today’s top DJ’s playing a dynamic mix of vocal house, rock and pop mash ups and Top 40 mixes. Exclusive VIP booths and tables will be available starting at $200 and reservations are highly recommended by calling 702-797-7300.

Senior Vice President of Station Casinos LLC and General Manager of Red Rock Resort Mark Dunkeson said the decision to reopen CHERRY as a seasonal nightclub came as a result of feedback by local residents who wanted a late night high energy nightlife experience within the resort/casino. “We want Red Rock Resort to be the obvious choice for weekend and late-night entertainment this summer,” said Dunkeson. “We’re increasing the amount of amphitheatre concerts and are bringing back our exclusive day-club pool parties on weekends to round out the summer entertainment offerings,” he said.

The nightclub will be hiring for seasonal positions including bartenders, VIP beverage servers, bussers, porters and hosts. Apply now, prior to attending the job fair, online at www.stationcasinos and click on “careers”. Applicants must attend a job fair inside CHERRY nightclub on April 17 and 18 between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
