Block16 Hospitality To Open Pink’s Hot Dogs at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa

Block16 Hospitality continues to expand its multi-faceted restaurant portfolio with the addition of Pink’s Hot Dogs, the second Pink’s Hot Dogs in the Block16 line-up. Located at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, Pink’s Hot Dogs is unlike any other hotdog stand in America, featuring classic and unique dogs to please every palette.

Replacing Turf Grill, Pink’s Hot Dogs will be located near the poker room and race and sports book inside the resort-casino and boast an impressive 2,000 square feet of restaurant space. Set to open Winter 2012, the menu will be very similar to the other Las Vegas outpost of Pink’s Hot Dogs.

Guests will be able to enjoy cult classics such as the Guadalajara Dog, Poli-Bacon Chili Cheeseburger and Pink’s famous Chili Dog. Following weeks of renovations, Fiesta Henderson welcomes the community to its refreshed bingo room. Extensive improvements include new and modern carpet with beautiful hues of red and gray, refinished wall coverings, upgraded chairs and new tables that provide a more comfortable environment for guests. To celebrate, the property will hold grand reopening weekend festivities August 17-19. The bingo room operates sessions daily from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. with sessions on the odd hours. (Las Vegas, Nev.)— Red Rock Resort is bringing barbecue back in a big way with the announcement of Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que’s arrival at the popular Summerlin entertainment destination. It is anticipated to open Summer 2013 following an extensive design and construction process and will be the Company’s second location in Southern Nevada.

Best known for its authentic Southern-style barbecue prepared “slow and low,” Lucille’s uses the finest cuts of meat cooked from scratch and prepares its Bar-B-Que at a constant temperature of 225 degrees for hours on end using hickory wood inside a dining room smoker.

(Las Vegas, Nev.) – With football season around the corner, Great Giveaway, the largest prize pool in Nevada, is back for its 26^th year with $2 million in cash and prizes including the popular “no lose” guarantee. Additionally, the popular Last Man Standing Pro and College Elimination football contests will offer up to $200,000 in cash prizes. $2 Million Great Giveaway Football Contest

The Station Casinos Great Giveaway Football Contest kicked off August 8 and is truly a “no risk” football season promotion allowing anyone who does not win any weekly or end of season prizes to receive the entry fee back (see details below). A $25 entry fee registers players to compete for their share of $2 million in total cash and prizes including the opportunity to win one of two Dunhill Homes, a new Chevrolet Camaro or Silverado truck, or as an alternative to a vehicle, a cash prize of up to $20,000.

Voted “Best Football Contest” in Las Vegas 18 years in a row by the Las Vegas Review Journal, Great Giveaway offers the most payouts of any football contest in town.

Over the 17-week NFL season, Great Giveaway will award a total of $30,000 in prizes each week to players with the most wins or losses. The contestant who picks the most season winners or losers will win a new Dunhill home valued at $225,000 or $100,000 cash. The popular “Fiddle in the Middle” returns with total cash prize winnings of $200,000 for selecting the equal number of wins and losses for the entire season.

There is a $25 fee per entry with no more than two paid entries per person allowed. Those who purchase two entries will receive a bonus third entry for free. Contestants may also use Boarding Pass points at Station Casinos, Fiesta or Wildfire Gaming properties, or Jackie’s Club Cortez points at El Cortez, for payment or partial payment of entries.

Contestants will also receive their entry fee back in free slot play if they do not win any weekly or end of season prizes. Eligibility is based on paid entries only. Contestants must play all 17 weeks of the contest on all of their entries to be eligible for all prizes.

Contestants may submit weekly picks beginning August 24 at 10 a.m. for the $2 Million Great Giveaway with their Boarding Pass at any of the 15 Station Casinos’ sports book locations or at the El Cortez. Last Man Standing Pro and College Elimination Football Contests

Contestants have the ability to win up to $200,000 in this year’s “winner takes all” Last Man Standing Elimination Football Contests available for both professional and college football. Last Man Standing is based on picking one winning football team against the contest line weekly at any Station Casinos sports book location including the Fiestas and Wildfire Gaming, or at the El Cortez. Selections will be made against the point spread listed on the weekly contest card and if it is a winning selection, that entry will remain in the contest for the following week. The fee is $25 per entry. Each contestant may purchase up to four entries total with a fifth entry for free for both contests. The prize money will be awarded to the last contestant remaining. If the weekly selection is a losing selection or a contestant fails to submit a weekly selection, that entry will be eliminated. There will be no ties and all games will be half point spreads.

Last Man Standing may be played at any of the Station Casinos sports books including the Fiestas and Wildfire Gaming properties, and at the El Cortez. $75,000 will be the minimum guaranteed aggregate prize for the professional football contest and $25,000 will be the minimum guaranteed aggregate prize for the college football contest. 100 percent of all entry fees will be returned as prize money. Thursday, Friday and Saturday college football games may be included.

A $100,000 winner’s bonus will be awarded to a player who individually wins both the professional and college Last Man Standing contests.

The weekly contest card will be available in the sports books beginning Monday, September 3. The deadline for signing up is September 8 at 7 p.m. for the college football contest and by September 9 at 9 a.m. for the professional football contest to be eligible.
