Largest Multi-Property Linked Pai Gow Progressive in Southern Nevada

7-Card Straight Flush! Edward hit the Progressive jackpot for $200,922 a mere 6 hours after launch at Palace Station.

LAS VEGAS – Following a successful trial that linked Pai Gow progressive jackpots at gaming tables at Sunset Station and Red Rock Resort, the progressive expanded February 1 to include all 10 Station Casinos and Fiesta properties including Aliante Station, Boulder Station, Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho, Green Valley Ranch resort, Palace Station, Red Rock Resort, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station and Texas Station. The additional properties give Station Casinos the largest multi-property linked Pai Gow progressive in Southern Nevada, which results in higher jackpots.

The expansion of the program means jackpots will start higher, grow faster and players will hit more often with more than 30 tables that are linked company-wide. The beginning jackpot after all properties connected was more than $200,000. Less than seven hours after the progressive was linked to Palace Station, which is coincidentally the final property to be connected, a Virginia man hit that progressive jackpot with a 7-card straight-flush that included a joker. With any regular bet, players become eligible for the progressive with a side bet of only $1. The progressive is won with a seven card straight-flush with or without a joker. The jackpot is once again over $200,000 as of the release date.

Players at Station Casinos can also win 10% of the progressive jackpot with a winning hand of five aces. The initial linked Pai Gow progressive involving Sunset Station and Red Rock Resort was a pilot performed in partnership with ShuffleMaster that began in October. As a result of the program’s success and popularity, Station Casinos expanded it to 10 properties allowing the opportunity for greater jackpots at more locations throughout the Valley.

Nice Rides! Car-A-Day Giveaway is Back

LAS VEGAS – Station Casinos will give away 200 cars and $400,000 in cash February 10-29 during its “$5 Million Car-A-Day Giveaway” promotion. All 10 Station Casinos and Fiesta locations (Aliante Station, Boulder Station, Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho, Green Valley Ranch resort, Palace Station, Red Rock Resort, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station and Texas Station) will each give away one car per day during the 20 day promotional period. The $5 million giveaways in 2011 and 2012 are the largest promotions in Station Casinos’ history.

Generous promotions with cars are a long standing tradition with Station Casinos that date back to the company’s founder, Frank Fertitta Jr., who created the original “Car A Day in May” promotion. In the 70’s and 80’s, Fertitta saw many casinos tout a single car as a prize, but rarely were they given away. He created the “Car A Day In May” promotion with a commitment to create several winners by giving one car to a customer each day of that month. The company, now run by his sons, expanded Fertitta’s legacy by reviving this idea and expanding it last year to a promotion worth millions of dollars and an opportunity for guests to win a car a day at multiple properties.

Drawings for the “$5 Million Car-A-Day Giveaway” car winner will be held daily, beginning February 10, at 8:15 p.m. in each casino. Vehicle winners will be able to choose from four select Chevrolet models: Camaro, Sonic, Silverado and Cruze. In addition to one car winner each night, four $500 cash winners will be drawn at each location, which breaks down to a total of 50 big wins each day across Southern Nevada. When the contest is completed, there will be a total of 1,000 wins guaranteed from the promotion. Winners do not have to be present at the drawing, but prizes must be claimed within 24 hours.

The contest eligibility period for members of the free Boarding Pass rewards program begins on February 6. Entries are good all month long and must be activated by swiping rewards cards at Boarding Pass kiosks by 8 p.m. Members of the program will get one entry for every 50 slot points earned at any Station Casinos or Fiesta location. Additional entries may be earned by playing table games, live poker, bingo and with select race and sports wagers. Boarding Pass members will also receive 10 free entries daily February 10-29 just for swiping their cards at a Boarding Pass kiosk.

All-New Boarding Pass to Reinvent Popular Loyalty Program

STATION CASINOS REINVENTS POPULAR LOYALTY CARD PROGRAM

BOARDING PASS CARD REVAMPED TO OFFER MORE BENEFITS AND CASH BACK TO GUESTS

Station Casinos changed the way locals gambled back in 1999 with the introduction of the innovative Boarding Pass loyalty card program that rewards guests for their gaming play; and on September 15, Station Casinos will introduce the all-new Boarding Pass program with the addition of several significant enhancements including:

  • Video poker and slot players will now earn points three times faster than before, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Every one dollar played will equal three points when playing video poker, slots and video keno making the Boarding Pass program the most competitive point ratio in town.
  • The merging of three loyalty card programs into one card (Boarding Pass at Station Casinos’ properties; Amigo Card at the Fiestas and the Wild Card for the Wildfire Gaming division)  with equal points earned and redeemed at 18 Station Casinos’ locations.
  • Players may now earn cash back.  One dollar in cash for every 1,000 points earned.
  • Players’ points can be redeemed at over 50 restaurants, 11 hotels, five bowling centers, seven movie theaters, two spas or for hundreds of concerts.  No other locals’ loyalty program offers full access to dozens of free entertainment offerings.
  • Players will get status twice as fast with a six month cycle for both status credits and maintaining their status level.
  • Status credits can be earned in other gaming areas including pari-mutuel waging, poker, sports book and bingo.
  • Status credits, which assist guests in moving up in their card status as well as provide additional perks and discounts, can be earned throughout the casino including video poker, slots, video keno, table games, poker, race and sports book wagering and during bingo sessions.   The threshold to get status is lower than ever before.

“The  enhancements to the all-new Boarding Pass represent the most monumental change in our loyalty card program since its creation and addresses all the desires we’ve heard from our guests when we asked them for a ‘wish list’ of their ideal players’ card program,” said Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer for Station Casinos.

Guests can pick up their new Boarding Pass at any Rewards Center.  All points will be converted to the players’ advantage and merged into one card. New Boarding Pass card players who sign up for the card will get up to $500 in free slot play

The five status levels of the Boarding Pass program begins with Preferred as the first level and status grows to the Gold, Platinum and President levels with the highest level, Chairman.  President and Chairman level players will be given a personal casino host to ensure that all of their casino needs are met.

The roll out of the all-new Boarding Pass program is another example of the Company providing extraordinary and innovative promotions as recently seen with the launch of its “We Love Locals” program, bringing back the popular “Car a Day” promotion that awarded 220 cars throughout the month of February and the increased football contest prize pool from $1.4 million to $2 million in the long-standing “Great Giveaway” promotion.

For additional details about the all-new Boarding Pass program, visit any Rewards Center at any Station Casinos’ property or visit www.mystation.com.
