A little bit Country, a little bit Rock ‘n Roll, Evenflow’s performances showcase the diverse musical influences of its band members. You can catch the band for free every Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm – 11pm at Jack’s Pub inside Palace Station. The Station Casinos blog caught up with Evenflow lead singer Scott Hartshorne for more information about the band.

What’s the band’s history?
Evenflow was built by Jason Tanzer of Dustree Productions here in Las Vegas. The band has been playing around Las Vegas for three years now.

Where are you guys from. Any band members Las Vegans?
I have been in Las Vegas for three years and I’m originally from Philadelphia. Alfonso (bassist Alfonso Bernal) IS a Las Vegan. Johnny (guitarist Johnny Douglas) is from Chicago and Device (drums) is from Colorado.

Is the band’s name from the Pearl Jam song, a philosophic statement about harmony in life, or something else?
More of a philosophic statement about harmony in life since we play just about everything from Johnny Cash to Metallica. That is what makes us so different. One minute we will be playing Neil Diamond and the next playing Whitesnake.

Who are your musical influences?
Everyone in the band has different musical influences, that is why you will hear us play, disco, country, alternative, metal, glam rock and good old rock n’ roll at our shows.

Does Evenflow have original songs or anything in the works?
We currently have no original music but it has been something we have talked about.
