LAS VEGAS – The menu at San Lorenzo at Texas Station just got even tastier with the arrival of new menu items and the return of some of its classic dishes that the restaurant was founded on. In addition to the updated menu, the Italian restaurant now features a 20 for $20 wine menu, providing patrons with 20 different and delicious bottles of wines at an affordable price.

Diners can now choose from several new menu items, including appetizers such as Meatball Sliders and Clams di Zuppa, a dish of steamed clams in a white wine sauce with fresh garlic, tomatoes and basil. Also featured are two new pasta dishes, a classic Frutti de Mare and Filet Mignon Pizzaiola consisting of a delectable filet mignon topped with mushrooms, bell peppers, garlic and a marinara sauce.

By popular demand, favorite guest items are now back on the menu, including a homemade pizza menu with choices of Margherita, Pepperoni, Florentine and Tuscan which features pesto sauce, mozzarella tomato and basil. Appetizers include the classic Pasta e Fagioli soup and Artichoke Francese which consists of tender artichoke hearts that are egg battered and sautéed in a light lemon sauce. Additionally, guests’ beloved House Antipasto Salad with crisp greens, salami, provolone, marinated artichokes, mushrooms and black olives tossed in a creamy Italian vinaigrette is back on the menu. Returning entrees include a classic Linguine with Clams and Chicken Catarina, a breast of chicken filled with roasted peppers, spinach and mozzarella and lightly breaded in a light lemon butter sauce.

The only way to top off meal items like those listed above is with a great bottle of wine, of which 20 different options are now available for only $20. Current wines include Chateau St. Jean cabernet and merlot, a Terlato Russian River Valley Pinot Grigio and Red Diamond chardonnay, cabernet and merlot, among several others. Wines on the specialty menu are based on availability and subject to change.
