World Cup Soccer & Beers From Around the World

We think team USA should celebrate at the Yard House if they win this year's World Cup!

THE OLE USA might not be the best at soccer, but we sure make some good beer.

As you may know, the Yard House, with more than 100 of the best beers from around the world, had its grand opened last weekend at Red Rock Resort. As you also may know, our Sports Books will be showing all the World Cup soccer matches, starting tomorrow with Mexico vs. host South Africa at 7am, as 32 of the best national clubs compete over the next month.

We’re pretty excited about both here at Stations. So excited we’re offering chances to win team jerseys, $1 hot dogs, $2 breakfast sandwiches and $1 Buds and Bud Lights at all Station and Fiesta Sports Books during the matches. (Learn More Here!)

Yard House Grand Opening June 6 at Red Rock

Located next to the Poker Room, the new Yard House is open daily from 11am with late-night dining.

LAS VEGAS — Yard House is getting ready to double down with the opening of its second Las Vegas location inside Red Rock Resort. The restaurant, which made its Vegas debut in 2008 at Town Square Las Vegas, will open its doors to the public at its newest location on Sunday, June 6, for lunch, dinner and late-night dining.

“Las Vegas has been an excellent market for us,” said Harald Herrmann, president and CEO of Yard House Restaurants. “Our location at Town Square continues to be one of our top producing restaurants, and I have no doubt that our new Red Rock Resort location will be a tremendous success as well. The casino setting is certainly exciting and adds another dynamic to the Yard House experience.”

The 13,515 square-foot restaurant, which faces Charleston Avenue, boasts 130 taps of beer, a menu of American fusion fare, original artwork commissioned by Orange County artist Jerome Gastaldi, and a state-of-the-art sound and visual system with indoor and outdoor seating that can accommodate 557 guests. The striking interior showcases a contrasting mix of warm woods, stainless steel accents, and a signature oval bar encircled by tap handles.

Sports fans can catch the latest game on one of the many flat screens that are strategically positioned throughout the restaurants, while enjoying the strains of the restaurant’s vast music library boasting more than 5,000 titles of mostly classic rock. The sophistication of the audio technology allows the play list to be instantly altered in real time to reflect the age and preference of the guests.

“Music is as equally important as our food, beer and service,” says Steele Platt, founder and chairman of Yard House Restaurants. “We want people to enjoy the ambiance, the food, and conversation. Won’t we don’t want is the distraction that comes along with the clatter of silverware, so we’ve made music a cornerstone of the Yard House concept.”

As with each Yard House, it’s the glass-enclosed keg room that is essentially the pulse of the operation housing as much as 5,000 gallons of beer at a time. Three to five miles of individual beer lines, as well as an assembly of glycol lines, stretch from the keg room to the island bar via overhead stainless steel conduits maintaining a constant temperature of 34-36 degrees and keeping the beer consistently fresh and perfectly chilled for every pint.

Adding to the ambiance is a menu of American fusion fare created by award-winning Executive Chef and Partner Carlito Jocson. With a nod to his Filipino heritage, many of Chef Jocson’s dishes feature flavors of the Pacific Rim, which are then infused with more traditional fare. The menu, which boasts more than 100 items, includes a creative list of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, rice and pasta dishes, as well as steak and seafood. A prix fixe children’s menu, printed on a 12-page activity book, features a selection of items found on the regular menu only served in age-appropriate portions.

The new Yard House is located inside Red Rock Resort at 11011 W. Charleston off I-215. The restaurant is open daily from 11am with late-night dining offered until 12:30am Sunday-Thursday and until 1am on Friday and Saturday. For information, please call 702.363.YARD (9273).
